QualifiedBookkeepers.com brings together employers and job seekers for a better job match. We do this by providing tools to help measure and evaluate professional skills of job seekers.
How It Works for Job Seekers:
When a job seeker becomes a member, he or she completes a profile and has the option of purchasing one of 80+ skills tests (see a list of the tests available here).
After a test is completed, the score is posted in the job seeker's profile and becomes searchable by employers. By taking these tests, job seekers can distinguish themselves from other candidates. Those with stronger skills and higher test scores find themselves listed higher on the candidate search results and consequently attract more attention. Our filters enable candidates to be quickly found within a certain geographic location, with specific skills and experience, and by tests taken.
The job seeker can search through job postings and apply for a job. What is unique with QualifiedBookkeepers.com is that job seekers can supplement credentials and job experience with objective skills test scores. These test scores can help job seekers set themselves apart from other candidates.
Profiles are anonymous until one of the following occurs:
How Job Seekers Get Noticed:
1. Apply to a Job. Job seekers can apply to any job on our Web site anonymously. When a job seeker applies to a job, the employer be able to view the applicant’s contact information without further approval from the job seeker.
2. Profile Searches. When a job seeker’s profile is available for search, employers can send an inquiry to the job seeker for contact information. If the job seeker is interested in the employer and approves of the request, he/she can authorize the employer to receive the contact information and resume. A job seeker has complete control to approve or deny the employer’s request.
How It Works for Employers:
1. Profile Searches. Employers who join as members can immediately search for and communicate with job seekers who have the relevant skills.
2. Post a Job. Employers can post jobs, wait for applications, and then review and choose the best candidates to contact.
Employers who need to screen job seekers further can send them a skills test (This functionality is coming in December). Once the test is completed, the score is posted in the job seeker's profile for review.
Benefits:
1. Save Time. Employers limit the number of resumes to sift through.
2. Fresh Database. Employers receive continually updated resumes, because job seeker memberships expire and must be renewed. Employers can focus their hiring efforts on more serious and committed candidates.
3. Recruiting Tools. Employers can purchase skills tests to augment their recruiting efforts. These tests help employers to further assess skills, knowledge, and expertise. During the interview, the employer can also ask the job seeker to take a test while in the employer's office. Test results post to the job seeker's profile for review.
4. Control. Job seekers can save time and can be more focused in their job search. They decide which employers should receive their contact information.
5. Get Noticed. Job seekers are recognized for their skills. Higher test scores are listed towards the top of the candidate search results. With QualifiedBookkeepers.com, job seekers can stand out from the crowd.
